The war of words keeps growing between India and Pakistan, on a issue which all know is going to continue the way it is, Pakistan continues to shy away from accepting the truth that it's land is being used for terrorism, also it cannot take a strong stand on terrorism, since the Islamic hardliner's are now controlling this nation, at one end the Pakistan government needs to face the pressure of it's own civilians losing faith in the government, on the other hand they also have to bow down to the crime lords, who are funding the survival of a bankrupt country along with financial assistance from international community.
It's really surprising that international community say's they are with India on the terror issue, still IMF & USA wants to keep funding Pakistan to keep it alive though they know that their money is being sowed on Pakistani soil to cultivate crops of terrorists, Tony Stark from "Iron Man" thought he built weapons to protect his country, but he was pained to know that the same weapons were going to be used in the war of terror against his own country, i believe USA knows this very well, that the next possible terror attack on USA would originate from Pakistan, i read this in an article in an interview given by an American security expert.
Pakistan says it would prosecute the Indian Most Wanted list criminals in it's own land, with it's own law, what's the point , this country is their safest heaven, and there is no law of the land in Pakistan, if someone can show me if any other law exists than the law of bullet. if Pakistan does not want itself to be torn apart like Afghanistan, it needs to act swiftly, because i believe the current generation of educated Pakistani citizens would not like to be a victim of few handful extremists and mad jihadi's.
The need for change is required on both sides of the border, if Indian people can arise to the useless politics in India, so can aware Pakistani citizen's, few years down the line, it should so not happen that the countries in the west make Pakistan a permanent base to fight war on terror, which is going on since 9/11 happened in America, still hunting for Osama Bin Laden, unnecessarily targeted Iraq and just to bring down Saddam, now USA says it is apologetic for the war raged in Iraq since they never found weapons of mass destruction there.
I managed to get a copy of a documentary "Standard Operating Procedure", this documentary is based on atrocities committed on Iraqi prisoner's in Iraq which had come in news few years back, the reality is really gruesome, no doubt any muslim person shown such disturbing torture done on prisoner's in Iraq jails by the army officials of combined nations on Iraq war would send their blood boiling asking for weapons to gun these people down with uncontrollable rage.
I am yet to watch this documentary completely, but whatever i saw moved my conscience, a dog was left on a prisoner who bit him bad on one of his leg, the prisoner's wound was left open for few days, leaving him in unbereable pain, medic assist was given but i did not check exactly when, prisoner's were paraded naked, dumped upon each other naked, dragged by a belt in the neck, their pictures were taken for fun, the NATO soldiers have admitted that they were kept in really unhygenic conditions, dead bodies lying around stenching in the prison courtyard, human excreta rotting.
No body is talking about the current recession brought upon by developed nations, who let the money loose to the subprime market?, who invested money in fraud schemes?, did any one ask for accountibility of economies functioning "Rodeo" style, left free, "free market", "free economy", which has washed away money of investor's across countries.
A terrorist comes kills some people, he himself also gets killed, but what about economic terror minds spotted across company board rooms, decision makers, economy masters, when a job is lost, a person loses can loose his sanity, see himself living on the brink and avoiding the unevitable, when a family guy commits sucide, kills his family, what makes him do that?, who is going to strike on crucial economic blunder's. i beleive time has come we make it mandatory for corporates to adopt "Corporate Economic Responsibility" along with Corporate Social Responsibility.
Just thought of mentioning about watching a movie on Sony Pix channel this sunday, "Arlington Road", real thriller and not with a happy ending, stars actor Jeff Bridges in the lead, who played baddie Stane in Iron Man movie, a sure shot recommended flick, based on terror plot, my wife also wanted to watch "wednesday" movie which aired on UTV movies, surprsingly the ad breaks were filled with Insurance Companies ADs, understandably this is the time for them to cash on public sentiments, fear and concern, sad but true, and just after Wednesday movie was going to end, "Bombay" movie another movie on communal tensions was scheduled to be aired, i really wonder if media is really interested in keeping the terror fright alive in people?
